S.O. 6213(E).—In exercise of the power conferred upon me under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962, I,
Manish Chandra, Commissioner of Customs (Port), Kolkata do hereby notify the Container Freight Station (CFS) of M/s.
Transworld Terminals Private Limited, located at P-66A, Karl Marx Sarani (behind ITC Factory), Kolkata –700 043,
with the following area as given in the Schedule below, as “Customs Area” for the purpose of examination and clearance
of Cargo imported/exported by various Importers/Exporters in Containers as well as examination, stuffing/loading and
sealing of export cargo under Customs supervision.
SCHEDULE
2. The Container Freight Station (CFS) of M/s. Transworld Terminals Private Limited, located at P-66A, Karl Marx
Sarani (behind ITC Factory), Kolkata – 700 043, measuring 35, 476 Sq. Mtrs out of total 36, 816 Sq. Mtrs , has the
following boundary indicators :-
(i) On the North - CGR Road and ITC Land ;
(ii) On the South - Sonai Road;
(iii) On the East - M/s. Badri Prasad Poddar, M/s. Tara Marine
Syndicate (P) Ltd. and M/s. Golden Horn Container Service
(iv) On the West - KoPT Truck Terminal Area.
A triangular area measuring 1340 Sq. Mtrs., outside the Entry/Exit Gate has been excluded from the total area
of 36,816 Sq. Mtrs of the CFS. This area outside will be used by the CFS operator for managing entry and exit of
Trailers.
The layout plan of this area indicated in DRG No. LM-4259-1-D-III dated 15.10.2015, endorsed by Chief
Engineer, Kolkata Port Trust, is given as Annexure to this Notification.
