ORDER
New Delhi, the 27th January, 2020
S.O. 385(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 340 of the Constitution, the President is
pleased to extend the tenure of the Commission for Other Backward Classes to examine sub-categorisation of Other
Backward Classes, notified vide Order S.O.3210(E) dated 2nd October 2017 in the Gazette of India, for 6 months
beyond 31st January 2020. The following term of reference is hereby added to the existing 3 terms of reference of
the Commission, notified vide Order S.O.3210(E) dated 2nd October 2017, i.e.:
(iv) to study the various Entries in the Central List of OBCs and recommend correction of any repetitions,
ambiguities, inconsistencies and errors of spelling or transcription.
2. The Commission shall present its Report by 31st July 2020.
