New Delhi, the 16th June, 2017
S.O. 1936(E). —In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24
of 1989), the Central Government hereby notifies Deoband-Roorkee New Broad Gauge Rail Line Project as a Special
Railway Project for acquisition of balance 142.0347 hectare (90.8380 hectare land in Saharanpur District and 51.1967
hectare land in Haridwar District) in the state of Uttar Pradesh & Uttrakhand respectively, for providing national
infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
