S.O. 1821(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7 A) of section-2 of Indian Railways Act, 1989
(24 of 1989), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Table below as
“competent authority” to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of
