S. O. 854 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule
annexed hereto as the competent authorities to perform the functions of such authorities under the said Act with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the
said Schedule relating to district, revenue circle /block, villages and mouza mentioned in column (3), (4), (5) and (6)
respectively of the said Schedule for building (widening /two-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of
the National Highway No. 627 in the stretch from Dalimbari N/C (16.400 km. to 20.113 km. in part), (20.113 km to
23.400 km in whole), (23.400 km to 25.135 km in part), (27.480 km to 31.050 km in part), (32.355 km to 38.250 km in
whole), (47.515 km to 48.515 km in part), (48.515 km to 97.415 km) to Doyangmukh under West Karbi Anglong District
in the State of Assam.
