S.O. 367(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the District Collector,
East District, Gangtok, in the State of Sikkim as the Competent Authority to perform the functions
of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publications of this notification in
the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from Km 51.870 to 53.900 of National Highway
No. 10 (old NH No. 31A) for building, (widening/two laning etc.) including the bypasses,
maintenance, management & operation in East District in the State of Sikkim, as specified in the
schedule given below:-
