New Delhi, the 1st July, 2016
S.O. 2391(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the Additional District
Magistrate (LA), Burdwan as the competent authority to perform the function of such authority
under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette,
in respect of Construction of ROB in place of existing Level Crossing at Km. 4.00 (near Talit) and
in place of existing narrow RUB at km. 41.730 (near Bhedia) of NH-2B in the district of Burdwan,
West Bengal, as specified in the schedule given below.
