In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Govt., hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Govt., of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number S.O. 311(E) dated the 8th February, 2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 10th February, 2010 namely
This notification, S.O. 2486(E), issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on September 14, 2015, announces an amendment to the earlier notification S.O. 311(E) dated February 8, 2010, concerning land acquisition for National Highways. The amendment, made in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3(a) of the National Highways Act, 1956, involves two key changes:
1. In the Schedule pertaining to Taluk Saoner, the entry "Jaitpur" is replaced with "Jaitgad" in column 5.
2. In the Preamble, "Special Land Acquisition Officer, General, Nagpur" is replaced with "Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, General, Nagpur."
