New Delhi, the 27th September, 2017
S.O. 3155(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the officers mentioned in
column (2) of the schedule annexed hereto as Competent Authority to perform the functions of such
authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official
Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said
Schedule relating to Districts, Taluks / Mandals, Police Stations and Villages mentioned in column (4), (5),
(6) and (7) respectively of the said Schedule for building (widening Two/Four lane with paved shoulder
etc.), maintenance, management and operation of the National Highway No. 340-Cin the State of Andhra
Pradesh.
