AMENDMENT
New Delhi, the 13th July, 2017
S.O. 2439(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), The Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways number S.O. 2391(E),
dated 1st July, 2016 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Sub-section 3(ii), dated 13th July,
2016, namely:—
I. In the preamble of the aforesaid Notification, instead of the words “Additional District
Magistrate (LA), Burdwan” the words “Additional District Magistrate (LA), Purba Bardhaman”
shall be substituted.
II. In the schedule to the aforesaid notification, in column 2, “Districts”, the entry “Burdwan” shall
be read as “Purba Bardhaman” and in column 3, ‘Taluk’, the entry “Burdwan Sadar (North)”
shall be read as “Bardhaman Sadar North”.
