New Delhi, the 5th January, 2018
S.O. 162(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Land Acquisition Officer,
Kandhamal as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with
effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land
from Km. 173/370 to Km. 229/400 of the National Highway No. 59 (Baliguda-Daringbadi Section), for
building, maintenance, management and operation in the State of Odisha as specified in the Schedule given
below.
