New Delhi, the 19th May, 2016
S.O. 1827(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956) , the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of schedule annexed
here to as the competent authority to perform the function of such authorities under the said Act with effect from the date
of publication of this notification in the official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the corresponding
entry in column (3) of the said schedule relating to district, taluk, police station and villages mentioned in column (4),
(5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said schedule for building (widening Two/Four laning etc.) maintenance, management
and operation of the stretch of land from km 132.53 to km 132.685 of the National Highway No. 80 (Bhagalpur Bypass
Section) in district Bhagalpur in the State of Bihar as specified in the Schedule given below.
