New Delhi, the 2nd January, 2018
S.O. 20(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers in mentioned in column (2) of
the schedule annexed here to as the Sub District Magistrate, Pithoragarh to perform the functions of such
authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette,
in respect of the stretch of land specified in corresponding entry in column (3) of the said schedule relating to
Districts, Taluka, Police stations and Villages mentioned in column (4), (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the
said schedule for Consultancy Services for Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for rehabilitation and
up-gradation to 2 lane/2 lane with paved shoulders configurations & strengthening of National Highways
no. 125(New-09) from Km 52.00 (Tanakpur) to km 202.00 (Pithoragarh) {for Pithoragarh Bypass from
Ex. Km 197.175 to km 206.950 of NH-125 (New-09)} in the State of Uttarakhand.
