New Delhi, the 5th April, 2018
S.O. 1511(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition),
Dist. Murshidabad, West Bengal as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act
with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from
Km. 0.000 to Km. 105.490 [Omarpur(NH12)-Jangipur-Lalgola-Bhagwangola-Chunakhali-Islampur-Domkal-Jalangi] of
the National Highway No. "NH Bharatmala" for building (widening/four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and
operation in the State of West Bengal, as specified in the Schedule given below.
