S.O. 844 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, number S.O. 4019(E) dated 22nd December, 2017,
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated 22nd December, 2017 namely :-
In the aforesaid notification, in line 2, for the entry, “the Central Government hereby authorizes the Sub-
Collector, Vijayawada as the Competent Authority”, the entry “the Central Government hereby authorizes the Sub-
Collector / Revenue Divisional Officer / Assistant Collector, Vijayawada as the Competent Authority” shall be
substituted.
