S.O. 2127(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Special Land
Acquisition Officer, National Highway, Dharwad as the competent authority to perform the
functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from Km 4+600 to Km 5+269
and from Km 5+896to Km 6+846 of the National Highway No. 367 'C' for Construction of Major
Bridge near Talabal and Nitali at Km 4.90 and 6.50 respectively on NH 367 in the State of
Karnataka as specified in the Schedule given below.
