New Delhi, the 23rd June, 2017
S.O. 1981(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Land Acquisition Officer, (NH) Khordha as the
competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication
of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from km. 403.775 to km. 405.550 (Ichapuram–
Bhubaneswar Section of Gohira chowk) and km. 410.950 to km. 413.027 (Ichapuram – Bhubaneswar Section of
Khandagiri chowk) of the National Highway No. 5 for building (widening/six-laning, etc.), maintenance, management
and operation in the State of Odisha as specified in the Scheduled given below.
