NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th November, 2017
G.S.R. 1370(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of
Section 34 of the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988), the Central
Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Highways Authority of
India (the term of office and other conditions of Service of Members) Rules, 2003, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the National Highways Authority of India (the term of office and
other conditions of Service of Members) (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National Highways Authority of India (the term of office and other conditions Service of
Members) Rules, 2003, in rule 6 for clause (iii), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:—
“(iii) Chief Executive Officer, NITI Aayog; and”.
