In exercise of the powers conferred by clause aa of sub- section 1 of Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 52 of 1962, the Central Board of Excise and Customs, hereby makes following further amendments
This notification, No. 137/2015-Customs (N.T.), issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, on December 7, 2015, introduces an amendment to Notification No. 1297-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated April 2, 1997. The amendment, enacted under the powers conferred by clause (aa) of sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, concerns the specification of locations for unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods. Specifically, it adds "Village JanoliBhagola, Tehsil Palwal" in the State of Haryana as a designated location for these activities. [F. No. 434/38/2009-Cus.IV]
The notification being amended, No. 1297-CUSTOMS (N.T.), was originally published as G.S.R. 193(E) on April 2, 1997, and last amended by Notification No. 103/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.), published as G.S.R. 833(E) on November 3, 2015.

G.S.R. 739(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (aa) of sub- section (1) of Section 7
of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs, hereby makes following
further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of
Revenue) No. 12/97-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated the 2nd April, 1997, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 193(E), dated the 2nd April, 1997,
namely:—
In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 5 relating to the State of Haryana, after
item (vii) and the entries relating thereto, in columns (3) and (4), the following item and the entries shall
respectively be inserted, namely:—

“(viii) Village Janoli-Bhagola, Tehsil Palwal. U n l o a d i n g o f imported goods and loading of export goods”.
