New Delhi, the 13th October, 2017
S.O. 3319(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) and
sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2002 (13 of 2003),
and with the approval of the Central Government, the Highway Administration namely, the Chief Engineer
(Kolkata), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways hereby appoints the officers of the Public Works
(Roads) Directorate, Government of West Bengal, as specified in column (2) of the Table below, to exercise
the powers and discharge the functions conferred on it under sections 24, 25, 26, 27 and 43 of the said Act,
within the limits of jurisdiction, in respect of National Highways, as specified in the corresponding entry in
