(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Land Ports Authority of India (Officers and Other Employees) Recruitment Regulations, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the said regulations), in regulation 2, for the words “pay band and grade pay or pay scale”, wherever they occur, the words “pay level in pay matrix” shall be substituted. 3. In the Schedule to the said regulations,— (a) in column (4), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely,— “Pay level in Pay Matrix”; (b) against Sl.
