S.O. 1992(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) and sub-section (2) of
section 20 of the Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2002 (13 of 2003) and with the approval of the
Central Government, the Highway Administration hereby appoints the Commander of the Border Road Organization
specified in column (2) of the following table to exercise the powers and discharge the functions conferred on it under
sections 24, 25, 26, 27 and 43 of the said Act, within the limits of jurisdiction specified in the corresponding entry in
