S.O. 2393(E).—in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), The Central Government hereby authorizes The Special Land Acquisition Officer, Jalpaiguri as
the Competent Authority to perform the function of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the Construction of ROBs / RUBs in place of
existing level crossing (LCs) at km. 615+500 (Odlabari), km. 624+400 (Mal Bazar), km. 652+500 (Lataguri) and km.
661+100 (Moulani Gate) of NH-31 in the district of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, specified in the schedule given below.
