NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th July, 2016
S. O. 2465 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the Additional District Magistrate & Collector, South
Tripura District as the competent authority to perform the functions of such Authority under the said Act with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land km 68.645 to km
133.764 (Udaipur- Sabroom Section) of the National Highway No. 44 for building (Two laning with paved shoulder),
maintenance, management and operation in the State of Tripura under SARDP –NE Phase ‘A’ as specified in the
Schedule given below.
