New Delhi, the 30th November, 2016
G.S.R. 1103(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (zh) of sub-section (2) of section 73 of the
Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of 1996), the
Central Government hereby makes the following rule to amend the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons
with Disabilities Rules, 2013, namely :-
In the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities rules, 2013, in rule 3, after the Table,
the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :-
“Provided that the National Selection Committee referred to in rule 7may select higher number of awardees in
any or allthe categories or sub-categories referred to in the above Table.”
