Short title and commencement.–(1)These rules may be called the Coinage of issue of Two Hundred and Ten Rupees Coins to commemorate the occasion of 2nd Birth Centenary of Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji Rules, 2019. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Denomination of coins.–The coins of the following denominations shall also be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of “2nd Birth Centenary of Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji”, namely:— (i) Two Hundred Rupees; (ii) Ten Rupees. 3. Dimension and composition of coins.–The coins of the denominations mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the following dimensions and composition, namely:—4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] Denomination Shape and outside Number of Metal composition of coin diameter serrations (1) (2) (3) (4) Quaternary alloy Silver - 50 per cent. Design.– The design of the coins shall be as specified in the First Schedule to these rules. 5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.– The standard weight of the coins of above denominations coined to commemorate the occasion of 2nd Birth Centenary of Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules. First Schedule (See rule 4) (i) TWO HUNDRED RUPEES OBVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the center with the legend “सससस(cid:2)(cid:2)(cid:2)(cid:2)ययययममममेेववेेवव जजजजययययतततत”ेेेे inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भभभभााााररररतततत” in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “ ```` ” and denominational value “200” in the international numeral below the Lion Capitol. REVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the portrait of “SRI SATGURU RAM SINGH JI” in the center with the inscription ’’’’’’’’ ीीीी ससससततततगगगग##ुु##ुु रररराााामममम $$$$ससससहहंंहहंं जजजजीीीी कककक’’’’ िििि((((ततततीीीीयययय जजजज))))मम मम शशशशतततताााा++++दददद ीीीी’’’’’’’’ in Devanagari script on upper periphery and “2nd BIRTH CENTENARY OF SRI SATGURU RAM SINGH JI” in English shall be written on the lower periphery of the coin. The year “1816-2016” shall be written in international numeral at the bottom of the portrait. Second Schedule (See rule 5) Remedy allowed Denomination of Standard weight In composition In standard coin weight (1) (2) (3) (4) 1/500th plus or minus for Silver, 1/100th plus or minus, that is to that is to say the Silver content say, the weight could be 34.65 Two Hundred Rupees 35 Grams may vary from 498 to 502 per grams to 35.35 grams. 1000. Outer ring- (Aluminium Plus or minus 2.5 per cent. that Bronze): Aluminium - 5.5 per cent is to say, weight could vary to 6 per cent. from 7.52 grams to 7.90 grams. Nickel – 1.75 per cent. to 2 per 7.71 Grams (outer cent. and remainder are copper. Ten ring 4.45 grams and Center piece – (Cupro- Nickel): Rupees center piece 3.26 plus or minus 1 per cent for both grams) Copper and Nickel, that is to say, the copper may vary from 74 per cent to 76 per cent. and Nickel from 24 per cent to 26 per cent.
