सा.का.जन. 727 (ऄ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार, जसक्का-जनमायण ऄजधजनयम, 2011 (2011 का 11) की धारा 24 की ईप-धारा (2) के
खंड (घ) और खंड (ङ) द्वारा प्रदत्त िज तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, जनम्न जलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै ऄथायत्:-
1. सजं िप्त नाम और प्रारंभ.- (1) आन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम जसक्का जनमायण (लखनउ जिश्वजिद्यालय के िताब्दी समारोह के ऄिसर
पर संस्ट्मारक जसक्का िारी करना) जनयम, 2020 ह।ै
(2) ये रािपत्र में प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रभािी होंगे ।
2. जसक्के का मल्ू यिगय.- “ लखनउ जिश्वजिद्यालय के िताब्दी समारोह” के ऄिसर पर केन्द् रीय सरकार के प्राजधकार के ऄधीन िारी
करने के जलए टकसाल में एक सौ रुपये केिल मूल्यिगय के जसक्के का जनमायण दकया िायेगा।
3. जसक्के का अकार और संरचना.-
जनयम 2 में ईजल्लजखत मूल्यिगय के जसक्के, जनम्नजलजखत अकार और संरचना के ऄनुरूप होंगे, ऄथायत:् -

जसक्के के मुख भाग पर मध्य में ऄिोक स्ट्तम्भ का ससह िीर्य होगा, जिसके नीचे ‘’सत्यमिे ियत’े’ ईत्कीर्थणत होगा, ईसकी बांइ पररजध पर
दिे नागरी जलजप में ‘’भारत’’ िब्द और दांइ पररजध पर ऄंग्रेिी में "INDIA" िब्द होगा । ससह िीर्य के नीचे रुपया का प्रतीक ‘’₹” और
ऄंतरायष्ट रीय ऄंकों में ऄंदकत मूल् य ‘’100’’ भी होगा । जसक्के की पूरी पररजध पर झालर की अकृजत होगी ।

जसक्के के आस भाग पर लखनउ जिश्वजिद्यालय के आमारत के दियनी भाग का जचत्र होगा । आस जचत्र ईपर देिनागरी में "िताब्दी ईत्सि"
तथा ऄंग्रेिी में “CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION” जलखा होगा। जसक्के के ईपरी पररजध पर क्रमिः दिे नागरी जलजप में "लखनउ
जिश्वजिद्यालय" और ऄंग्रेिी में "UNIVERSITY OF LUCKNOW" जलखा होगा । जसक्के की जनचली पररजध पर िर्य “1920-2020”
ऄंतरायष्ट्रीय ऄंको में जलखा होगा । जसक्के की पूरी पररजध पर झालर की अकृजत होगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th November, 2020
G.S.R. 727 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of
the Coinage Act, 2011 (11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of commemorative coin to
commemorate on the occasion of Centennial Celebrations of University of Lucknow) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of Coin.- The coin of One hundred Rupees denomination shall only be coined at the Mint for
issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of “Centennial Celebrations of University
of Lucknow”.
3. Dimension and composition of coin.- The coin of the above denomination mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to
the following dimensions and composition, namely:-

4. Design: The design of the coin shall be specified in the First Schedule of these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the coin of above denomination coined to
commemorate the occasion of Centennial Celebrations of University of Lucknow and the remedy allowed in
making of the coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.

OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमिे ियत”े
inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with
the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “100” in
international numerals below the Lion Capitol. The skirting design is made on entire periphery for this coin.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the image of University of Lucknow building’s front façade. The inscription “िताब्दी
ईत्सि” in Devnagri script and “CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION” in English shall be written above the university
building image. The inscription “लखनउ जिश्वजिद्यालय” in Devnagri script and “UNIVERSITY OF LUCKNOW”
in English shall be on upper periphery of the coin. A year "1920-2020” in international numerals shall be written at
