New Delhi, the 16th May, 2016

S.O.1781(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 36 of the Central Electricity Authority
(Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2010, the Central Government hereby specifies that all
installations of voltage of supply exceeding 11 kV at the point of commencement of supply (irrespective of the connected
load) of multi-storeyed building of more than fifteen metre in height, shall be inspected by the Electrical Inspector.
