New Delhi, the 31st March, 2017
S.O. 1028(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of
1988), the Central Government hereby exempts all goods vehicles of Category N2 and Category N3 from the
applicability of requirement of such vehicles to be fitted with air conditioning system for the cabin as provided vide
notification number G.S.R 1034 (E), dated the 2nd November, 2016, upto 30th June, 2017.
