S.O. 6332(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Export (Quality Control and
Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the
Export of Animal Casing (Quality Control and Inspection and Monitoring) Rules, 1997, namely : -
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Export of Animal Casing (Quality Control and Inspection and Monitoring)
Amendment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Export of Animal Casing (Quality Control, Inspection and Monitoring) Rules, 1997, for rule 7(1), the
following rule shall be substituted, namely: -
“7 (1) A fee of five thousand rupees shall be paid by the establishment along with the application for approval
or renewal of the establishment in accordance with the provisions of sub-rule (4) of rule 5 and a monitoring fee
at the rate of 0.20 percent of free on board value and tax(s), as applicable, shall be paid or an amount of two
thousand rupees whichever is higher by the processor or the exporter to the concerned Export Inspection
Agency with a maximum of Rs. 25 lakhs per annum per exporter or processor.
Note.-The amount of monitoring fee and tax(s), as applicable, for each consignment paid by the exporter shall
be rounded off to the nearest rupee and, for this purpose, where such amount contains a part of a rupee
consisting of paise, then, if such part is fifty paise or more, it shall be increased to one rupee and if each
part is less than fifty paise, it shall be ignored.”

Export of Raw Meat (Chilled/Frozen) (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1992 , namely: -
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Export of Raw Meat (Chilled/Frozen) (Quality Control and Inspection)
Amendment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Export of Raw Meat (Chilled/Frozen) (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1992, for clause (II) of sub
rule (1) of rule 7 A, the following clause shall be substituted, namely: -
“(ii). A fee at the rate of 0.20% of free on board (F.O.B) value and tax(s), as applicable, shall be paid by the
processor or the exporter subject to a minimum of five hundred rupees per consignment of the Raw
Meat (Chilled/Frozen) to the concerned Export Inspection Agency with a maximum of Rs.25 lakhs per
annum per exporter or processor.
Note: The amount of monitoring fee and tax(s), as applicable, for each consignment paid by the exporter shall be
rounded off to the nearest rupee and, for this purpose, where such amount contains a part of a rupee consisting of

S.O. 6339(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 17 of the Export (Quality Control and
Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Export of
Feed Additives and Premixtures (Quality Control and Inspection and Monitoring) Rules, 2013, namely : -
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Export of Feed Additives and Premixtures (Quality Control and Inspection and
Monitoring) Amendment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Export of Feed Additives and Premixtures (Quality Control, Inspection and Monitoring) Rules, 2013, for
sub-rule (2) of rule 14, the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely: -
“ (2). A monitoring fee at the rate of 0.20% of free on board (F.O.B) value and tax (s), as applicable, shall be
paid by the processor or the exporter subjected to minimum of Rs. 2000 per consignment to the
concerned Export Inspection Agency with a maximum of Rs.25 lakhs per annum per exporter or
processor.”

Amendment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Export of Egg Products (Quality Control, Inspection and Monitoring) Rules, 1997, for sub- rule 6.2, the
following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely: -
“6.2. A monitoring fee at the rate of 0.20% of free on board (F.O.B) value and tax(s), as applicable, shall be
paid by the processor or the exporter to the concerned Export Inspection Agency with a maximum of
Rs.25 lakhs per annum per exporter or processor.
Note. - The amount of monitoring fee and tax(s), as applicable, for each consignment paid by the exporter shall be
rounded off to the nearest rupee and, for this purpose, where such amount contains a part of a rupee consisting
of paise, then, if such part is fifty paise or more, it shall be increased to one rupee and if each part is less than
fifty paise, it shall be ignored.”.
