NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th March, 2018
No. PSB/STAFF/OSR/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19, read with
sub-section (2) of section 12 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980
(40 of 1980), the Board of Directors of the Punjab & Sind Bank in consultation with the Reserve Bank of
India and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendments to
the Punjab & Sind Bank (Officers’) Service Regulations, 1982, namely:—
2. Short title and Commencement.—(1) These Regulations may be called the Punjab & Sind Bank
(Officers') Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2018
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab & Sind Bank (Officers’) Service Regulations, 1982, for sub-regulation (2) of regulation 6,
the following sub-regulation shall be substituted, namely:
“(2) For the purpose of categorization of posts under sub-regulation (1) every branch of the Bank shall
be classified by the Bank in accordance with criteria to be approved by the Board of the Bank.”
