In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 22C of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 68 of 1986, the Central Government, in consultation with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission hereby notifies Guwahati as the sixteenth place other than New Delhi at which the said Commission
This notification, S.O. 24(E), issued by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Consumer Affairs on January 1, 2016, designates Guwahati as the sixteenth place, in addition to New Delhi, where the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission shall perform its functions. This decision is made by the Central Government in consultation with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, exercising powers conferred by Section 22C of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (68 of 1986).
