S.O. 2630 (E).––In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 read with sub-section (5) of section 28A of
the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers
exercisable by it under sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 of the said Act shall be exercised by the Securities and
Exchange Board of India, established under section 3 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of
1992), in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
