New Delhi, the 27th October, 2017
S.O. 3443.(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10
of 1955) read with the clause 5 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby makes the following
further amendment in the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public
Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, number S.O. 3348(E), dated the 28th October, 2016,
namely:—
In the said notification, in clause 2, for the figures, letters and words “28th October, 2017”, the figures, letters
and words “31st December, 2017” shall be substituted.
