New Delhi, the 28th April, 2017
S.O. 1346(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of
1955) read with the clause 5 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public
Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution number S.O. 3348(E), dated the 28th October, 2016, published
in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub section (ii), dated the 28th October, 2016.
In the said notification, in clause 2, for the figures, letters and words “28th day of April, 2017”, the figures,
letters and words “28th October, 2017” shall be substituted.
