New Delhi, the 19th December, 2017
S.O. 3934(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act,
1955(10 of 1955) read with the clause 5 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby
rescinds the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public
Distribution (Department of Food and Public Distribution) number S.O. 3348(E), dated the 28th October,
2016, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) of the same date,
except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
