New Delhi, the 28th March, 2016
S.O. 1214(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized
Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Urban Development, Land and Development Office No. A-11013/1/2006-Admn.(L&DO) dated 11.03.2015, the Central
Government hereby appoints Shri V.K. Govil, Dy. Land and Development Officer, being Gazetted Officer of Government of
India, to be the Estate Officer for the purpose of the said Act, who shall exercise the powers conferred, and perform the
duties imposed on an Estate Officer by or under the said Act within the local limits of his jurisdiction in respect of Public
Premises as detailed below:
