(1) These Regulations may be called Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank (Officers & Employees) Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 2. In the Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulations, 2010 (hereinafter referred to as said regulations), in the regulations 61 for sub-regulation (4), the following sub-regulation shall be substituted, namely:- "(4) Privilege Leave may be accumulated up to not more than 270 days, except where leave has been applied for and it has been refused: Provided that encashment of Privilege Leave shall be restricted up to a maximum of 240 days." 3. In the said regulations, in regulation 67,- (a) In second proviso, after the words "retires from the service of the Bank", the words "under the provisions of regulation 11" shall be inserted; (b) For third Proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- "Provided also that in respect of the employee where his services are terminated owing to retrenchment, he shall be eligible to be paid a sum equivalent to the emoluments for the period of privilege leave he had accumulated subject to sub-regulation (4) of regulation 61." (c) After third proviso, the following provisos shall be inserted, namely,- "Provided also that where an officer or employee voluntarily retires from service on or after the 1 of April 2018, after giving due notice under sub- regulations (1) and (2) of regulation 27 of the Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank (Employees) Pension Regulations, 2018, he shall be eligible to be paid a sum equivalent to the emoluments for the period of privilege leave he had accumulated, subject to sub-regulation (4) of regulation 61. Provided also that where an officer or employee has been compulsorily retired including as a measure of punishment, he shall be eligible to be paid a sum equivalent to the emoluments of any period, subject to sub-regulation (4) of regulation 61. Provided also that where an officer or employee leaves or discontinues from service or resigns under the provisions of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 10, he shall be eligible to be paid a sum equivalent to the emoluments in respect of privilege leave to the extent of half of such leave to his credit on the date of cessation of service, subject to a maximum of 120 days."
