New Delhi, the 2nd August, 2018
S.O. 3845(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38 of the Biological Diversity
Act, 2002 (18 of 2003), the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Jammu and
Kashmir, hereby notifies the species of plants and animals which are on the verge of extinction, as
listed in column (2) of the Table given below, and prohibit or regulate the collection thereof subject
to the conditions specified in the Annexure to this notification, for the State of Jammu and Kashmir,

prohibited, except with the approval of the Jammu and Kashmir State Biodiversity Board only for
the purposes mentioned below, namely:-

3. The Jammu and Kashmir State Biodiversity Board shall undertake:-
