S.O.143 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of Securities and Exchange Board of India Act,
1992 (15 of 1992) read with rule 3 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of
Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Sanjeev Kaushik, IAS (KL:92) to
the post of Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India on immediate absorption basis, for a period of
3 years from the date he assumes charge of the post or till he attains the age of sixty five years or until further orders,
whichever is the earliest, with pay as admissible to an Additional Secretary to Government of India or a consolidated
salary of Rs. 3,75,000/- per month.
