New Delhi, the 26th July, 2019
S.O. 2688(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tobacco Board Act, 1975 (4 of 1975),
read with rules 3 and 4 of the Tobacco Board Rules, 1976, the Central Government hereby appoints the following
person as Chairman of the Tobacco Board for a period of three years with effect from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of
the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Commerce (Tobacco Industry Development Council) number
S.O. 5417, dated the 17th December, 1975, namely:-
In the said notification, under the heading, “appointed under clause (a) of sub-section (4) of section 4, for serial
number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“1. Shri Raghunadha Babu Yadlapati Chairman”.
