NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th December, 2019
No. CWC/XIV-4/Rectt.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the Warehousing
Corporations Act, 1962 (58 of 1962), the Central Warehousing Corporation, with the previous sanction of the
Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Central Warehousing
Corporation (Staff) Regulations, 1986, namely:—
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Central Warehousing Corporation (Staff) Amendment
Regulations, 2019.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Warehousing Corporation (Staff) Regulations, 1986, in regulation 10, for clause (i), the
following clause shall be substituted, namely:—
“(i) The period of probation prescribed for different posts in the Central Warehousing Corporation for
every person regularly appointed either by direct Recruitment or by promotion shall be as under:
PROMOTION Period of Probation from the date of
assumption of charge
(a) Promotion from one Group to another Group of posts, that is,
from Group ‘D’ to Group ‘C’, Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ or Group ‘B’ Two years;
to Group ‘A’ :
(b) Promotion to the next higher post or scale within the same Group
of posts, that is, from Group ‘C’ to next higher post in Group ‘C’ or Nil;
from Group ‘B’ to next higher post in Group ‘B’ or from Group ‘A’
to next higher post in Group ‘A’:
DIRECT RECRUITMENT
(a) Appointment to the posts of the level E-5 or above or where
age-limit is thirty-five years or above and where no training is One year;
involved:
(b) Appointment to a post other than the posts referred to in
clause (a): Two years”.
