Short Title and Commencement: (i) These Regulations shall be called the Food Corporation of India (Staff) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023. (ii) These shall come into force from the date of Notification in the Official Gazette. 2. Definitions: The definition and meaning of the words and designation of posts in this Regulation shall have the same meaning as contained in the Food Corporations Act, 1964 and the Food Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1971. 3. The following amendments are made in Food Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1971 (Appendix-I): (a) PART- I SPECIAL POSTS 13. General Manager (Engineering) The words appearing in Column 7 are replaced with the following: Essential: (1) Full Time Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent, including dual degree programs) in Civil/ Elec./ Mech. Engg. of minimum 04 year duration from AICTE / UGC recognized University or equivalent Institution. OR Passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil/ Elect./ Mech. Engg. AND4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] (2) Minimum 10 year experience of Civil/ Elec./ Mech.
