No. 249 (E) dated 08.02.2012 authorized National Highways Authority of India for levying and collecting fee on mechanical vehicles for the use of the stretch from Rajkot to Bamanbore section from km. 185.000 to km. 216.800 on National Highways Number 8B. And whereas, the stretch from Rajkot to Bamanbore section from km. 185.0000 to km. 216.800 on National Highway Number 8B has been entrusted to State Government of Gujarat vide Gazette Notification S.O. No. 1517 (E) dated 10.06.2015. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008 as amended, the Central Government hereby rescinds the Notification number S.O. 249 (E) dated 08.02.2012 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) of Government of India in Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. This notification shall be effective from the date of commencement of toll collection by State PWD, Government of Gujarat. [F.
