NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd March, 2016
S.O. 1200(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48
of 1956), read with rule 3 of the National Highways (Collection of Fees by any person for the use of section of
National Highways/permanent bridge/temporary bridge on National Highway) Rules, 1997, the Central Government by
notification of the Government of India vide S.O. No. 2405(E) dated 18.09.2009 authorized the Concessionaire to
collect and retain fees from the mechanical vehicles for the section from km 380.000 to km 265.000 of NH-3
(Pimpalgaon – Dhule section) at two locations, km 356.715 near Chandwal and km 268.632 near Dhule.
And whereas, an amendment to the original notification S.O. No. 2405(E) dated 18.09.2009 was published
vide S.O. No. 1789(E) dated 01.07.2015 authorizing the Concessionaire to collect and retain fees for the section from
km 380.000 to km 265.000 of NH-3 (Pimpalgaon – Dhule section) at one location, km 268.632 near Dhule for the
total Project stretch.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956),
read with rule 3 of the National Highways (Collection of Fees by any person for the use of section of National Highways/
permanent bridge/temporary bridge on National Highway) Rules, 1997, the Central Government hereby rescinds the
notification S.O. No. 1789(E) dated 01.07.2015.
