New Delhi, the 22nd March, 2016
S.O. 1201(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956), read with rule 3 of the National Highways (Collection of Fees by any person for the use of section of National
Highways/permanent bridge/temporary bridge on National Highway) Rules, 1997, the Central Government by
notification of the Government of India vide S.O. No. 912(E) dated 21.04.2010 authorized the Concessionaire to collect
and retain fees from the mechanical vehicles for the section from km. 539.500 to km. 440.000 of NH-3 (Vadape – Gonde
section).
And whereas, an amendment to the original notification S.O. No. 912(E) dated 21.04.2010 was published vide
S.O. No. 1788(E) dated 01.07.2015 authorizing the Concessionaire to collect and retain fees for the section from km.
539.500 to km. 440.000 of NH-3 (Vadape – Gonde section) at one location, km. 455.485 near Ghoti for the total Project
stretch.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), read
with rule 3 of the National Highways (Collection of Fees by any person for the use of section of National
Highways/permanent bridge/temporary bridge on National Highway) Rules, 1997, the Central Government hereby
rescinds the notification S.O. No. 1788(E), dated 01.07.2015.
