In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997 and in supersession of notification of the Govt., of India in the Ministry of Finance.
This notification, No. 91/2015-Customs (N.T.), issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise and Customs, and published in the Gazette of India as G.S.R. 681(E) on September 7, 2015, appoints Shri Vinay Chhabra as the Director General Safeguard. This appointment is made in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997. This notification also supersedes the earlier notification No. 48/2015-Customs (N.T.), dated May 25, 2015, published as G.S.R. 420(E) on the same date. The file number for this notification is F.
