NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th August, 2019
S.O. 2925(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 162 of the Electricity Act,
2003 (36 of 2003) read with Qualifications, Powers and Functions for Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors
Rules, 2006 notified on 17.08.2006 and as amended on 16.05.2016 and in supersession of Notification S.O. 756 dated
25.04.2016 published in the Gazette of India dated 07.05.2016, the Central Government hereby appoints following
officers of Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (LMRCL) as Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspector for
LMRCL, from the date of this Notification till their tenure in LMRCL or till further orders, subject to fulfilment of the
qualification and Condition mentioned in the above Rule:

The above mentioned officers shall exercise the powers and perform their functions in respect of electrical works,
electrical installations and electrical rolling stock in operation within the areas occupied by the LMRCL or in respect of
works and all electrical installations under the control of LMRCL/belonging to LMRCL as per the procedure provided in
Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electricity Supply) Regulations, 2010, as amended from
time to time.
LMRCL will ensure that above said officers will not be the Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspector in respect of
the work assigned to them in their respective post in LMRCL.
The officers appointed as Electrical Inspector shall undergo such training as the Central Government may consider
necessary for the purpose and such training shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Government.
