S.O. 1782(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O. 3448(E), dated the 26th October, 2017 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub – section (ii), dated the 27th October, 2017 and issued under Sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexure to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely, Western Dedicated Freight Corridor in district of Jaipur in the State of Rajasthan; And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers, namely, "Dainik Bhaskar" and "Rajasthan Patrika" dated the 12th December, 2017 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act;¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 And whereas two objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the Competent Authority. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
