करने के िलए िन(cid:7013) निलिखत और िनयम बनाती ह,ै अथा(cid:6981)त् :—
1. (1) इन िनयम(cid:7298) का संि(cid:6979)(cid:7009)त नाम केबल टेलीिवजन नेटवक(cid:6981) (संशोधन) िनयम, 2016 ह ै।
(2) ये राजप(cid:7074) म (cid:7286) (cid:7079)काशन क(cid:7409) तारीख को (cid:7079)वृ(cid:7004) त ह(cid:7298)ग े ।
2. केबल टेलीिवजन नेटवक(cid:6981) िनयम, 1994 (िजसे इसम(cid:7286) इसके प(cid:7019) चात् िनयम कहा गया ह)ै म(cid:7286), िनयम 6 के उपिनयम (1) म(cid:7286),
खंड (त) के प(cid:7019) चात् िन(cid:7013) निलिखत खंड अतं :(cid:7021)थ ािपत (cid:7408)कया जाएगा, अथात(cid:6981) ् :—
“(थ) (cid:7408)कसी (cid:7272)प म(cid:7286) पश(cid:7312)ु के (cid:7079)ित (cid:7059)ूरता या (cid:7410)हसा िचि(cid:7074)त करता ह ै या अवै(cid:6980)ािनक िव(cid:7019) वास को (cid:7079)ो(cid:7004) सािहत करता ह ै
जो पशु के िलए अपहािन का(cid:7407)रत करता ह ै।”
3. मूल िनयम(cid:7298) म,(cid:7286) िनयम 7 के उपिनयम (2) म,(cid:7286) खंड (viii) के प(cid:7019) चात ् िन(cid:7013) निलिखत खडं अंत:(cid:7021) थािपत (cid:7408)कया जाएगा,

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th August, 2016
G.S.R. 804(E).––In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Cable
Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995 (7 of 1995), the Central Government hereby makes the
following rules further to amend the Cable Television Networks Rules, 1994, namely:––
1. (1) These rules may be called the Cable Television Networks (Amendment) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Cable Television Networks Rules, 1994, (herein referred to as the principal rules), in rule 6, in
sub-rule(1), after clause (p), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:—
“(q) depicts cruelty or violence towards animals in any form or promotes unscientific belief that
causes harm to animals:”.¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
3. In the principal rules, in rule 7, in sub-rule (2), after clause (viii), the following clause shall be inserted,
namely :—
“(ix) depicts cruelty or violence towards animals in any form or promotes unscientific belief that causes
harm to animal.”.
